PRE-WASH cold to remove waste and fight stains. Wash in COLD water. Wash every other day. When washing cloth nappies, always use a detergent free of perfumes, dyes, whiteners, brighteners, softeners, enzymes, or other fabric enhancers.
Do cloth diapers need to be wash before first use?
Yes you need to pre-wash them once. If you have purchased covers, pocket style, all in two or all in one type diapers made with synthetic fabrics like microfleece, microfiber, micro-suede or athletic wicking jersey, you need only wash once with detergent and dry them before use.

How do you clean poopy cloth diapers without sprayer?
Swish and Dunk
You can simply use the swish or dunk method. Dunk the whole diaper, swish around until most of the poo comes off of the diaper. It can get a little messy and wet, but it works just fine.
Can I wash cloth diapers and inserts together?
You can wash the diapers and the diaper covers together unless they have different washing instructions from their manufacturer. Don’t overload the washing machine, or the diapers won’t get as clean and the friction between them will cause pilling of the fabric.
How many inserts go in a pocket diaper?
