We do not recommend placing your child in forward facing position in the Standard or Toddler Carrier. If you would like a carrier with the option to forward face, we’d recommend our Explore Tula Baby Carrier that allows you to face in, face out and back carry.
Can a baby face out in a Tula?
Perfect from newborn, the Tula Explore is ultra-supportive and the only Tula to offer an outward-facing carrying position. This adjustable, ergonomic baby carrier offers fantastic support, from your baby’s first months to the toddler years.
When can you wear baby on back Tula?
Baby is ready for the back carry position when they have consistent head, neck, and torso control; and are able to sit unaided. In the Free-to-Grow Carrier, the back carry can be used in either panel height and in the middle or wide seat setting.
Which is better Ergobaby or Tula?
In the Tula vs Ergo debate, keep in mind that Tula is more accommodating to higher weight babies. The straps are more comfortable for the adult. It is also more affordable compared to the Ergo. Ergo offers more carrying positions including hip and outward facing in the 360 model.
