When do babies outgrow Boppy Newborn Lounger?
The Newborn Lounger is that place for newborns (0-4 months) to hang out when you need a hands-free moment when baby is awake. The Boppy Pillow is a feeding pillow from day one but acts as a baby support after 3 months old for propping (3+ months), tummy time (6+ months) and sitting (9+ months).
When should you stop using Boppy lounger?
We typically recommend that you discontinue using your infant lounger when you are ready to sleep train. You can sleep train as early as 4 months or 12 lbs… whichever comes first! Of course, if your baby is showing signs of rolling, it’s super important to make sure they are sleeping on a flat surface.
Is a Newborn Lounger necessary?
Babies are a lot of work, and having a safe place to put them down during the day can make a world of difference. If you want to chop vegetables, fold laundry, or just take a break from constantly holding your newborn, a baby lounger can be just what you need.
When do you start tummy time?
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends supervised tummy time for full-term babies starting in the first week, as soon as your baby’s umbilical cord stump falls off. For newborns, success is a minute at a time, 2 to 3 sessions per day. If they start crying, it’s time for a break.

When do babies outgrow DockATot?

Can you machine wash a Boppy pillow?
Pillow: Use commercial size washer or dryer. Machine wash delicate cycle, 30˚C/85˚F. Tumble dry low on delicate cycle. While drying pillow, throw a sneaker or tennis ball (wrapped in a pillow case) in the dryer to help the pillow keep its shape.
Are baby lounger nests safe?
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is reminding parents and caregivers not to put babies in sleep positioners. These products—sometimes also called “nests” or “anti-roll” products—can cause suffocation (a struggle to breathe) that can lead to death.
